SCAN - Climate Change Workshop

Walking-the-Talk undertook a research project for Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) in 2010 to investigate the potential implications of climate change on the design, construction and management of paths in Scotland.

This workshop was held at the Scottish Countryside Access Network (SCAN) fair in November 2011, as a means of disseminating the outcomes of the research. You can access the presentation by clicking on the slide below.

Field visit and networking day

SCAN, SATIN, UPAG and SNH are running a networking day to look at the impacts of climate change on path management and to work through a climate change risk assessment process for a coastal path/network. The day will be facilitated by Chris York from Walking-the-Talk, and will provide the opportunity to discuss issues on site.

The event will take place on Tuesday 28th February at Dysart, Fife. The cost of the day is £20 (excluding lunch). If you wish to attend, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
