As part of the post-installation monitoring of a hydro-electric scheme near Kylesku, in the north-west Highlands, we have undertaken repeat freshwater macro-invertebrate surveys on behalf of RWE Inogy UK Ltd.

We have undertaken freshwater pearl mussel surveys throughout Scotland under licence. This has included assessments prior to the installation of hydro-electric schemes as well as for major utility companies.

Together with cbec eco-engineering, Walking-the-Talk was commissioned by Aberdeen City Council to look at options for a potential wetland area in Seaton Park in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen's East Tullos Burn in St Fitticks Park has had a major facelift, thanks to funding from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Total and Aberdeen Greenspace.

We successfully developed a £2.8 million funding proposal for Scottish Natural Heritage and partners to secure the conservation management of freshwater pearl mussel populations in designated sites across the United Kingdom.

We prepared EU LIFE and Heritage Lottery funding bids to assist with the restoration of the River Afon Teifi in Wales.
